With his track record of building successful startups, leading technical teams, facilitating mergers and acquisitions, and orchestrating companies through transformational change, Eric Nichter has unique breadth of expertise.
His 20-plus years of domain experience spans disciplines including DevOps, Cybersecurity, Automation, Cloud, DataCenter, IT Management, Enterprise Architecture, Engineering, Leadership and Culture.
Eric is currently focused on his role as Chief Operating Officer for ICE Cybersecurity, a San Diego based cybersecurity firm building automation software that enables simple, complete security solutions for businesses. His communications-centric focus, creativity and intuition differentiate him from traditional tech leaders.
Eric believes that people are an organization’s most important asset. He's passionate about helping global businesses protect assets, streamline operations and enable faster time-to-revenue.
A devoted husband and father of two children, Eric is also an award-winning artist and musician who loves spending time outdoors. He's involved with several community service organizations -- including as founding board member of a San Diego non-profit.
Eric graduated from Texas State University with a BS in Information Systems Management with a minor in Business MIS. Prior to that, he spent three years at University of Texas at Austin, exploring majors in science, art and music.
